A tiled wet room is the most seamless bathroom you can build — a fully waterproofed, open-plan space where the floor itself becomes the shower tray. No step, no tray edge, just continuous tiling from wall to drain.
It's also the most technically demanding. The finish everyone sees depends entirely on what's underneath: structural floor preparation, correctly graded falls to the drain, full tanking of floors and walls, and drainage sized to the shower above it. Get any layer wrong and the room leaks into the fabric of the house.
